Sealing machines play a vital role in ensuring the integrity of packaging. However, like all machinery, they can face occasional malfunctions. Below are some common issues you may encounter with sealing machines and how to solve them. These troubleshooting tips can help you address and resolve these problems to keep your sealing process running smoothly.

Below are some common issues you may encounter with sealing machines and how to solve them.

1. Air Outlet Leakage

Air leakage at the air outlet can result from worn-out switch seat rings, valve rings, or piston rings.

Solution:

Replace the Worn Rings: Inspect the switch seat ring, valve rings, and piston rings. If they are damaged, replace them with new ones to seal the air outlet properly.

2. Piston Rod Leak

Leaks at the piston rod are usually caused by damage to the bottom of the main ring.

Solution:

Replace the Main Ring: Inspect the piston rod and the surrounding area for any damage. If the main ring is damaged, it should be replaced to prevent leaks.

3. Transmission Ring Not Properly Positioned

If the transmission ring is not positioned correctly or is loose, it could be due to the inelasticity of the steel or drive spring.

Solution:

Check Steel and Drive Springs: Inspect the steel and drive springs for elasticity. If they are worn or weakened, remove the plate machine combination, re-install the spring tip, or replace the steel bars and drive springs.

4. Leaks at the Trigger

Leaks around the trigger area are often due to damaged switch valve rings or switch seat rings.

Solution:

Replace the Ring: Similar to the air outlet leakage, check the switch valve ring and switch seat ring for damage and replace them if necessary.
